ItemDB is slightly out of date.
Base cap of the Avatar is 112500. With Energy Man 5, that's 140625. (125% of base)
JDO5 (almost every serious capital pilot has that) makes jumping use 71.25% cap.
So after a jump, you have 40k cap left. DDD costs 27500 to fire.
Easy. :)

I believe the current course of action is to petition it, a GM will fit them for you.
Nope, you get a canned response that they cannot currently help with these things.
I'm about to escalate this to senior GM level, as there's pretty sustainable leads that Motherships have been docked by GMs in the past.

Done that. 'Our coders are aware of that problem, but currently we are unable to help you'. I guess we`ll have to wait till motherhips and titans will be like carriers and drednoughts today 
Yeah, I guess... Although I know for fact they have the tools to dock a Mothership or Titan. It's just that they do not WANT to use those tools for Motherships or Titans.
It's a bit frustrating really. :)
